Parenthood is hard! No matter how much advice, there are things we had to figure out on our own along the way. One of those things we learned the hard way is that every child is so different. Kai has always been a terrible traveler by car. She fights me kicking an screaming every minute of the way. We recently went on our first longer (3-4 hour) road trip and here are a few things I stuffed into my Lily Jade Diaper Bag that made the trip easier!

Do you have a Christmas tradition? As a new family of 3, we are always trying to think of fun ways to incorporate the festive spirit into the holiday season. For me, that always starts with décor. Something about joyful Christmas adornments just makes us all want to snuggle up by the warm fire with a hot cup of cocoa. Since Kai’s playroom is one we spend most of our time in, we decided why not start there! Today I’ll be sharing with you 3 tips I learned from transforming Kai’s play room/ great room for the holiday season.

One of my favorite rooms in our home has always been the Playroom. It has floor to ceiling windows and is painted white so I feel fresh and happy every time I am in the room. The only issue is, the room is so open and big, it's hard to define the space.
