How Hill’s Pet Gives Back Year-Round

It is no secret that here in the Green household we have a special place in our hearts for rescued pets. It all started when we adopted our dog Olie almost 5 years ago. Olie had a rough few weeks before being rescued and fostered. He was found along with his mother and brother abandoned, malnourished, and covered in fleas. Him and his brother both had severe heart worms and almost didn’t make it. If it weren’t for the help and care of his shelter, and foster parents, we wouldn’t have him to call family today.

We first met him when he was around six weeks old and fell in love at first sight, this sweet boy had to be part of the family! According to The Humane Society, in the United States it is estimated that between 6-8 million cats and dogs enter shelters every year.
